to be or not to be
All four actors played an incredible job on one of the most challenging roles imaginable. Kenneth Branagh would have to be my personal favorite because of the setting and the mirror showed was a cool effect which gave the audience a different type of an aside. The setting was accurate according to the written text, in the castle. Olivier was good too, but i dont like black and white films. The ocean gave me the feeling of being alone and it goes with the speech. Gibson was interesting, it was at the grave of his father and his voice would get louder and more angry which was more suspenseful. The modern version is not my favorite but it was smart of the director to have the setting in the action section in blockbusters. I can't wait to see what happens next in Hamlet.

First ghost scene
After watching three different clips of the ghost scene in hamlet, the one I enjoyed the most was the Mel Gibson version. The Mel Gibson version was more realist, dark and believable therefore I enjoyed it more. The Kenneth Branagh is my second favorite, the ghost played a good role but I didn't like the flashbacks because you can't create flashbacks in a live play. The modern version was stupid just because its modern and if I were to come across it on tv without seeing the tittle, I wouldn't recognize it as Hamlet. Somethings were meant to be original and kept in its time period.
